Jameson Guitars Full Size Thinline Review

While there’s many cheap guitars on the market, there’s very few we’ll actually put our stamp of approval on. Mainly because they’re pieces of crap. But, the Jameson Full Size Thinline Acoustic Electric Guitar is far from a smelly turd. It has impressed us as a quality and genuine instrument with the best performance in value you’ll find.

Blue Full Size Thinline Acoustic Electric Guitar - Jameson Guitars

For a cheap combo of both acoustic and electric components, the under 200 dollar guitar still packs a punch. The rosewood neck with white dot inlays, spruce top and sides, and the black-to-blue high gloss finish might scream cheap materials, but it works, and it has stunning aesthetic appeal.

When it comes to hardware, you’ve got a built-in EQ and an on-board stock pickup. What this means for you is a bright, mid-range set of sound with several audio settings that you can dial in and trust for crowd-pleasing music.

The die-cast tuners hold excellently. Don’t strum too hard and you’ll avoid tuning issues for life. This is extremely important to note when buying a guitar under 200 bucks. But, how does it sound?

Beginners and even intermediates will enjoy the high trebles, mid-range punch, and even the decent, solid presence of the bass frequencies.

Even better, the awesomeness doesn’t stop there. It comes loaded with extra accessories to get the beginner started off with an exciting bang!

Jameson Full Size Thinline Reviews

A close up of the controls on the Jameson Thinline guitar.

There’s no getting around the fact that there is a small percentage of buyers that received a defective guitar in one form or another. It may have been a bowed neck, uneven bridge, or sharp frets.

However, inspecting your guitar purchase within the first 30 days is always advised to ensure you can take advantage of a replacement or refund warranty.

Other than the small percentage of unhappy buyers, the Thinline Full Size Acoustic Electric Guitar has proven to be a strumming hit! They love that there is zero tuning and intonation issues when set up correctly.

Many buyers were surprised that it already came pre-strung with brass strings instead of steel. Everything about this guitar from the finish to the well-done job of put-together components makes it a winning steal for buyers on a budget.

Jameson Thinline Guitar FAQ

How often does the Jameson Guitar need Tuning?

There are many factors that affect tuning a guitar, and the same is true for the Jameson. However, with medium strings, it holds tuning very well. You shouldn’t have to tune it more than once each time before you play unless it’s been sitting for a while or if it’s been exposed to extreme temperature changes.

Can a Shoulder Strap be used with Jameson’s Thinline Acoustic Electric Guitar?

Yes, there is a hook on the heel of the guitar, but you do have to tie a string to the neck to complete the strap attachment. This is a normal feature for most acoustic guitars. However, a quick DIY job with a strap button can make life with a strap more convenient.

What are the Extra Accessories Included in the Full Size Thinline Guitar Purchase?

The Thinline Full Size Acoustic Electric Guitar comes with a free gig bag case and guitar picks.

What Kind of Strings does the Full Size Jameson Guitar come Pre-Strung with?
