For you to have the optimal TV experience, we searched long and hard for those crisp high sounds and smooth mids. If tower speakers are more your thing, you will love our post on the best floorstanding speakers on the market.

Furthermore, our research regarded the durability of the speakers as well as any extra features. These features such as extra connectivity options or expandable modes were considered.
All these aspects, as well as others, were considered to find the best bang for your buck.

This Bose speaker may carry the high price tag like many of its other products, but it is still worth every dime. If you have the budget available, this could be a perfect fit for your home. This speaker may be small in size, but it packs some serious power when it comes to volume and sound quality. You can expect crisp and clear sounds while still getting depth and richness.
The bass is surprisingly good for such a small speaker and all-round, the sound is very balanced. Another perk of the SoundLink Revolve is its 360-degree sound coverage. This means that no matter where you are standing, it will sound as if the speaker is directed perfectly towards you! This nifty feature is a huge advantage for any TV room with asymmetrical layouts or couch areas on the outskirts of most sound systems.
The SoundLink speaker boasts an average battery life of up to 12 hours which should last most people throughout the whole day. If you’ve never been a fan of tedious controls and always needing to search for a remote to change the settings, Bose has your back.

JBL is no stranger to the electronics market and their trusted name has been earned from years of consistency. This speaker is another product that speaks to the high standards of JBL.
✔️ What we like: Excellent sound quality
❌ What we don’t like: Doesn’t offer NFC
- Robust build
- Waterproof body
- Up to 20-hour playtime
- JBL Connect mode
If you’re looking around to upgrade your TV sound system, you will often be met with sound systems that are large and bulky. These can be great if you have space in your TV room and don’t mind the size of the system, but it isn’t a good approach for everyone.
If you are someone who is tight on space or even just prefers the idea of a compact sound solution, this may be perfect for you. This JBL Charge 3 speaker is a neatly packaged sound system that fits into a 19-inch exterior. This may be large compared to other portable Bluetooth speakers but when it comes to TV speakers, this is exceptionally small.
This speaker has a wonderfully robust build and feels like a solid speaker. The outside is covered in a metal mesh which is great for durability as well as aesthetics.
For its small size, this speaker gets rather loud, which makes it a great candidate for a TV speaker. The sound quality is exceptional and nothing short of what you would expect from JBL. The highs are crisp, the mids have incredible clarity, and there is a surprising amount of bass.
Furthermore, this speaker is waterproof, and it floats. This is perfect if you decide to give it a break from the TV room and want to take it out to the pool for some music.
Moreover, you can connect up to three devices at a time. You can freely go from watching your favorite series on your TV to listening to your best music streamed from your smartphone to even playing a video from your tablet. All of this with barely lifting a finger to switch between devices!
This JBL Charge 3 speaker is truly a fantastic option for any TV set up.
8. Polk Ultra-Slim TV Sound Bar
The Polk Ultra-Slim TV Sound Bar is a fine choice because of its Bluetooth connectivity, connects to wireless HDTVs, it has an ultra slim design to fit in most places very easily, and you can use it to stream music wirelessly.
✔️ What we like: Incredible value and great sound
❌ What we don’t like: Isn’t compatible with certain Samsung TVs
- Wireless Subwoofer
- Wi-Fi connectivity
- Easy to set up
- Streams music wirelessly
- Connects to many different types of TVs
Personally, I really like the Polk Ultra-Slim TV Sound Bar for many reasons, but I particularly like that you have access to a wired or wireless version with Wi-Fi. Depending on your needs, you can save a little money and go with the wired version, or if you prefer, you can splurge and spend a little extra to get the Wi-Fi hook up, which is definitely a great way to go if you plan on bringing this speaker outdoors at some point.
The cool thing is that your connectivity options are numerous. According to their product page, you can connect via Bluetooth, auxiliary cables, Wi-Fi, and HDMI cables as well. So, there’s definitely going to be an effective option for everyone, which is great because connectivity will never limit you from choosing this amazing sounding ultrathin speaker.
One fair warning though: one customer owned a 2019 Samsung television and attempted to connect the speaker to it wirelessly. For whatever reason, the wireless connectivity didn’t seem to work, and our unhappy customer wasn’t very thrilled by the fact that he paid good money for a speaker that he couldn’t connect to his TV. Unfortunately, it’s hard to determine which TVs the speaker will work for, so be prepared to return it if yours isn’t one of the ones that works.
In the end, the Polk Ultra-Slim TV Sound Bar wired or wireless speaker is a great choice because of the Bluetooth connectivity, the surround sound integration, the fact that it perfectly connects to TVs, tablets, and smart phones, or that it has deep bass, crystal-clear sound, and it wirelessly streams music.
A Guide to Choosing Wireless Speakers for TV
For sound quality, it is helpful to have a good sense of the quality offered at different prices. This is because, if your sites are set on high sound quality but your budget is tight, you may become disheartened by the options on the market. However, the converse is also important.
Knowing when your money is worth better sound quality is imperative. So, with that in mind, we suggest looking for speakers that deliver great performance for their price. This would include finding speakers that give clear and dynamic sound, with a kick from the bass.
Overall, well-balanced speakers are a great target since they accommodate a wide range of uses.
While some people may think that extremely high-volume capabilities are essential, that isn’t always the case. If you have a small space to fill, you won’t need as high a volume to create an amazing effect. So, with that in mind, we recommend that you analyze your volume needs for your space and your preference so that you can target products that are best suited to you.
If you are torn between products, then the one with a higher volume may come in handy for any outdoor uses or if you use it in a larger room at a later stage. Volume is definitely an important aspect, especially for TV usage, but it is in no way a deal breaker for a speaker if the speaker still meets your sound needs. It just depends on your uses and your needs for your TV room.
The aesthetic design of a speaker is usually a very personal aspect of a product. However, it can be useful to pay attention to the materials used as this can sometimes be an indicator of durability. The size of the speaker is also dependent on the amount of space you have available.
For example, a 40-inch soundbar with a subwoofer may be a perfect fit for one person but for someone else in a smaller space, it may be rather inconvenient. In general, slim and compact designs can be more versatile because of their portability but if you are happy with a larger setup, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
The extra features included with a wireless speaker can enhance your experience a great deal. Whether it is sound modes, EQ adjustment capabilities or surround sound technology, the added features can improve your TV set up. However, these features are not the core components of a good speaker.
So, we would recommend prioritizing other aspects of the speaker, such as sound quality, before giving too much weight to the features.
Finding Awesome Value for Money
When you start your search for the best wireless speaker for TV, there are many things to consider.
Things like the sound quality, aesthetic, build quality, and size. While many of those aspects will be subjective and must be adjusted to suit your needs, others are universal criteria.
We kept these aspects in mind to find you the best value for money and the best-sounding speakers across a wide range of designs and prices.
With this list, everyone will be covered, no matter what your needs are.
